PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a signal mechanism capable of discriminating an LED/bulb in software during changing of the kind of the signal mechanism, etc. SOLUTION: This signal mechanism in this railway security system includes an interlocking device for controlling signal equipment of a railway system, an electronic terminal performing an input/output control of the signal equipment by an instruction from the interlocking device, a control device for transmitting information to perform the input/output control by the electronic terminal according to state information on the signal equipment from the interlocking device, a communication control device for connecting the interlocking device and the control device, and a monitoring terminal device for maintaining the interlocking device and the control device. When switching the LED/bulb of the signal belonging to the signal mechanism, a change of a lighting state monitoring method of the signal is coped by loading a constant showing the discrimination of the LED/bulb from the monitoring terminal device to the interlocking device.
