PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker having excellent conveying efficiency of a rice-cooking pot and not requiring a large space for installation, and a control program for the rice cooker. SOLUTION: The rice cooker having the transporter with a twin gripping device is provided, wherein the transporter for the rice-cooking pot travels along a row of rice cookers; two gripping devices are arranged on front and back sides of the transporter in a traveling direction; a first gripping device of the two gripping devices, positioned on a receiving side of the row of rice cookers, is assigned to grip the uncooked rice-cooking pot and set the rice-cooking pot in the empty rice cooker; and a second gripping device positioned on a discharging portion side of the row of rice cookers is assigned to take out the rice-cooking pot from the rice cooker which has finished cooking the rice, and convey the pot to the discharging portion.
