The invention relates to an extract of an annelid of the Lumbricidae family and, more specifically, of the species Allolobophora caliginosa, as well as to pharmaceutical and cosmetic compositions comprising said extract and to the uses thereof for promoting tissue regeneration and the healing of wounds as well as in cosmetic methods.
