PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, although it is effective to increase thickness of a buffer member such as felt in order to improve damper effect, the more thickness of the buffer member increases, the larger a sound volume of dissonance becomes in a conventional damper, because the buffer member strikes a sound between two adjoining scales due to strength of the thick buffer member.
SOLUTION: In the damper of a piano, in which a sound volume of string struck time is lowered, by striking a hammer head through the buffer member, by moving a muffler rail with the buffer member up and down, the buffer member is made a single scale buffer member in which each single scale striking is performed for independent action for each hammer head. Thereby, since the buffer member independently acts on each hammer head which strikes each single scale, the buffer member does not strike the sound between two adjoining sounds, and strikes only the note corresponding to individual hammer head.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
|
