PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving diagnosis device which can efficiently conduct careful driving diagnosis and fuel saving diagnosis, and gains the results of diagnoses which excels in accuracy, and to provide a driving support device. SOLUTION: A driving support ECU (electronic control unit) 1 diagnoses the degree of a driver's careful driving in a careful driving diagnosing part 15 and also diagnoses the driver's ecological driving, in an ecological driving diagnosing part 16. The driving support ECU 1 includes a diagnosis distribution switching part 12 and adjusts the diagnosis distributions of safe driving diagnosis and ecological driving diagnosis, according to the slope of a traveling road on which a vehicle travels.
