PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving load detector which stably performs determination with respect to any sort of drivers. SOLUTION: The driving load detector includes index detection means 2 and 3, which detect two kinds of indexes A and B which have correlations in driver's degree of activity; an individual linear characteristics accumulation means 4 which accumulates linear characteristics between indexes A and B by individual; an individual identification means 5, which individually identifies a driver; and an activity degree deterioration determination means 6 which reads individual linear characteristics identified with reference to the individual linear characteristics accumulation means 4, sets an application threshold according to the read linear characteristics, and determines, when both of the detected two kinds of indexes A and B have exceeded the application thresholds, and that the activity degree of the driver who is individually identified has deteriorated.
