Disclosed herein is the FairyJanes invention which is footwear having heel and ankle support for shoes that have a tendency to slip off heel such as pumps, high-heels, mules, backless sandals, etc. The mechanism/strap is a unique invention that is transportable, removable and interchangeable to different shoes. Another highly desirable feature is the ability to rearrange the straps in a variety of configurations in different methods on the instep, arch and ankle of the foot to secure the heeled shoe or boot. FairyJanes are a functional and aesthetic apparatus/accessory for supporting heeled shoes and boots. The mechanism is a one piece strap that goes around the under part of the shoe [the instep and heel] around the heel, crosses over the back of the heel and is secured with a buckle around the ankle. It effectively supports the ankle, arch, instep and heel of the shoe to the foot therefore allowing smooth movement in walking, running with low, medium to high heels and boots during intense activity. It addresses a solution to a fundamental and sometimes hazardous problem of high-heeled shoes slipping off the heel and ankle. There is a left and right FairyJane for the left and right foot.
