<p>Disclosed is an inkjet recording device in which moisture is removed more efficiently from the region of a recording head, while condensation on the nozzle surface of the recording head is continuously prevented, and reductions in print quality and drying of the nozzle surface are prevented. The inkjet recording device comprises: a recording head for ejecting ink onto a recording medium; a heater for heating the recording medium; and a conveyance device for conveying the recording medium which has been heated by the heater to below the recording head. The inkjet recording device ejects ink onto the recording medium in order to form an image thereon, while the recording head is moved relative to the recording medium in a direction along the upper surface of said recording medium. The inkjet recording device further comprises a cooler which is provided in a state of insulation from the recording head, and has a cooling surface which is cooled to a temperature which is lower than the temperature of the nozzle surface of the recording head. The cooling surface and the nozzle surface of the recording head are disposed in the direction of relative movement and face the recording medium.</p> |
