An active matrix substrate comprises a plurality of switching elements provided on an insulation substrate, a plurality of wirings provided on the insulation substrate and connected to the switching elements, an interlayer insulation film which covers the plurality of switching elements and the wirings, a plurality of pixel electrodes formed on the interlayer insulation film, and a plurality of terminals which are led out from the plurality of wirings and are arranged at predetermined intervals. The plurality of terminals are at least partially exposed from the interlayer insulation film. A reflection layer which reflects light is provided in an area which is defined by at least a part of an area between the adjacent terminals and which includes an end edge of the interlayer insulation film, as viewed from a direction of a normal line to the surface of the insulation substrate.
