PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for physical distribution which has strong welding bond strength between core half bodies, and even when a crack occurs in butting surfaces by impact or the like, minimizes the influence thereof. SOLUTION: At least one mountain part 4 protruding toward the other side in a substantially trapezoidal shape when viewed from side, and a valley part 5 retracted to mate with the mountain part 4 at a position opposed to the mountain part 4 are disposed in the edge parts of core half bodies 20 and 20 butted to each other, respectively. These core half bodies 20 and 20 are weldingly bonded to each other with the mountain part 4 and the valley part 5 fitting each other, thereby forming the bent butting surfaces.
