<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspecting method for determining that negative electrode paste to be used in constructing a lithium secondary battery is good or not. <P>SOLUTION: The method is provided for inspecting the negative electrode paste which is applied to the surface of a negative electrode collector of the lithium secondary battery. It includes (1) preparing a primary kneaded material which is obtained by kneading at least a negative electrode active material and a thickening material with aqueous solvent in a process for preparing the negative electrode paste, (2) applying centrifugal separation to the primary kneaded material, and collecting supernatant liquid including the negative active material and the thickening material released from the kneaded material, (3) measuring the absorption spectrum of the collected supernatant liquid in a wavelength region of 400-700 nm, and calculating an average value for the absorbancy in the wavelength region as a degree of black, and (4) comparing the calculated degree of black with a reference degree-of-black range predetermined as the prefixed range thereof, and determining that the primary kneaded material is no-good when the degree of black is outside the reference degree-of-black range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
