<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery electrode to be used for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery to inhibit overcharge, and to provide the nonaqueous electrolyte battery. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte battery electrode is used for the nonaqueous electrolyte battery which includes a positive electrode whose positive electrode mixture layer having a positive electrode active material is formed on a collector, a negative electrode whose negative electrode mixture layer having a negative electrode active material is formed on the collector, and nonaqueous electrolyte.
