<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for testing an insulation monitoring device, capable of obtaining test results of higher accuracy by performing a test using a reactive leakage current as a parameter. <P>SOLUTION: The device for testing includes a current injection means which includes a current output line 6 inserted through a current transformer of the insulating monitoring device I and which generates a test current of a phase increasing or decreasing the reactive leakage current contained in a leakage current and injects the test current into the current output line 6, and a current detection means which includes a current transformer 8 which is so made that the current output line 6 is inserted therethrough, and is attached to a ground line, and which detects the leakage current flowing through the ground line and the test current flowing through the current output line 6 together by using the current transformer 8. According to this constitution, it is possible, for instance, to inject the test current so that the reactive leakage current may increase, to make the test current reach a prescribed current value and thereby to check that the insulation monitoring device I does not perform an alarming operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
