<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering system for reliably transmitting vibrations to a driver. <P>SOLUTION: The steering system 10, which deforms the steering 11 of a vehicle to transmit information to a driver, includes protrusions 12 that move around the rotational axis R of the steering 11 along the rim circumference D1 on the rim 11a of the steering 11 and expand and contract in a rim radial direction D2. Since the protrusions 12 move around the rotational axis R of the steering 11 along the rim circumference D1 and expand and contract in the rim radial direction D2, the deformation of the steering 11 caused by the protrusions 12 is sensed by a driver with high probability.
