<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and decrease a burden of a communication charge when a present position cannot be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation apparatus 100 for guiding a route includes a GPS part 114 for obtaining present position information by a communication with a GPS, a navigation information obtaining part 160 for receiving route data of a network 200, route data of a route selected from a navigation server 300 for storing map data or the map data, a guide control part 120 for deciding whether or not the present position information can be obtained, and guiding the route in accordance with the obtained present position information when the present position information can be obtained, a GPS communication control part 150 for interrupting the communication with the GPS when it is decided that the present position information cannot be obtained and a server communication control part 170 for interrupting a communication with the navigation server 300 when it is decided that the present position information cannot be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
