<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply search a desired scene from a recording medium that stores a plurality of scenes. <P>SOLUTION: A scene K is reproduced from a recording medium 104 storing a plurality of scenes. After the last frame (K-last) of the scene K is decoded, the first frame (K+1-first) of a scene (K+1) is reproduced.
