PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire that is electrically safe and eco-friendly, and saves energy without giving uncomfortable feeling to a user. SOLUTION: A conversion portion and a cold-cathode discharge tube are connected by an electric connection member provided at the flank side of a lamp case to secure electric safety. The luminaire uses a small amount of mercury and eliminates the need to dispose an inverter having a remaining life, thus achieving eco-friendliness. Furthermore, uncomfortable feeling is prevented from being given to the user by the use of a holding member when a long cold-cathode discharge tube is used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
