PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heating efficiency of an ink temperature adjusting mechanism with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A printing apparatus of ink circulation type equipped with a heater for warming ink and heat sink in the ink route includes a case for covering the heater and heat sink. The case is equipped with a cooling fan for taking in an air from the external in the lower part. An opening is formed in the top face, and a cover corresponding to the opening is connected to one side of the opening by a hinge mechanism so as to be freely opened and closed. The cover of the case is stabilized in the condition of having been closed with the self weight at the time of stopping of the cooling fan while becoming opened due to a wind pressure produced by the rotation of the cooling fan at the time of the rotation of the cooling fan.
