PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust gate signals to equalize the pulse widths of gate signals between chopper circuits. SOLUTION: A first triangular wave SC1 and a prescribed offset voltage are input into an inverted input terminal of an operational amplifier 301 to obtain a signal, where an inverted signal of the first triangular wave SC1 is offset by a prescribed amount, as a second triangular wave SC2. First and second gate signals g1, g2 are generated from the first and second triangular waves SC1, SC2 and a command signal Sm, respectively. A deviation signalΔg, where the second gate signal g2 is subtracted from the first gate signal g1, is subjected to low-pass filter processing before integration, an error amountε, namely the integrated value, is input into the inverted input terminal of the operational amplifier 301 as an offset voltage.
