PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively set an operation mode of an additional function attached to a mobile terminal. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal has: a function portion having a plurality of operation modes; a storage portion storing a switchover history of the operation mode of the function portion; a control portion preparing a switchover schedule based on the switchover history and selecting the operation mode of the function portion based on the switchover schedule; and an operation mode-setting portion switching the operation mode of the function portion to the operation mode selected by the control portion and returning the operation mode to the operation mode before the switchover when the function portion is not used by the operation mode after the switchover within a predetermined time.
