PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restore a virtual computer at a certain point of time in the past, in a server virtualization environment that constructs a plurality of virtual computers, and manages the time for restoration with respect to all the virtual computers. SOLUTION: A host computer creates a first snapshot of a first virtual computer at a first time specified by a management computer, and stores it into a first logical volume of a storage device. Next, a storage system copies the first logical volume to a second logical volume. When a second snapshot of a second virtual computer is created at a second time preceding the first time by the host computer and when the second snapshot is stored in the first logical volume, the management computer manages or displays the creation time and snapshot information of the second snapshot, and the creation time and snapshot information of the first snapshot, in association with each other.
