PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease filling device and a filling method capable of efficiently and accurately filling a predetermined quantity of grease in a filling place of a work. SOLUTION: The grease filling device 1 includes a pump pressure adjusting regulator 5 for adjusting a force-feed force of the grease G, a connecting hose 9 for guiding the grease G of adjusting the force-feed force by the regulator 5 to a filling head body 7, the filling head body 7 for guiding the grease G supplied from the connecting hose 9 to a filling nozzle 11, the filling nozzle 11 for delivering the grease G supplied from the filling head body 7 toward the filling place J of the work W, and a valve drive device 19 for controlling the opening/closing operation of a delivery valve 17. A heater 37 for heating the grease G is arranged in the filling head body 7, and the filling nozzle 11 is constituted so that the grease G can be filled in the work W in a non-contact attitude.
