PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric compressor for a vehicle, applied with countermeasure against radiative heat, vibration and a waterdrop. SOLUTION: This electric compressor 1 for the vehicle, compresses a refrigerant of a vehicular air conditioner by driving a compression mechanism by an electric motor. An insulating gel agent 15 is filled up to the position contacting with an upper part of a protective case 11 for storing and arranging a substrate 12 and a power element 13 of an inverter control device 10 for controlling the electric motor.
