PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge system rapidly and inexpensively disposing a large amount of jelly fish. SOLUTION: The system includes a dust removing machine 12 for removing foreign matter conveyed from the sea through a water intake path; a foreign matter conveyance water conduit 14 for conveying the foreign matter removed by the dust removing machine 12 over a water flow; a storage tank 16 for storing the foreign matter conveyed through the foreign matter conveyance water conduit 14 together with the sea water and for separating jelly fish from the foreign matter by floating the jelly fish conveyed as foreign matter to the upper side in sea water stored therein and precipitating foreign matter not floatable on the lower side; a release groove 30 provided in an upper part of the storage tank 16 to discharge the sea water and jelly fish near the surface within the tank; and a conveyance water conduit 20 and a discharge path 24 for discharging the sea water and jelly fish discharged out of the release groove 30 to the outside.
