An optical connector device enables an optical connector to be easily mounted and removed from a housing. An optical connector device (11) which connects to a mating optical connector device (81) comprises: a first housing (31) for containing and holding an optical connector (61); a second housing (41) for holding the first housing (31) in a floatable manner; and a securing member (51) for mounting and securing the second housing (41) to an object (201) to which the second housing is to be mounted. Catch sections (35, 37) of the first housing (31) and latch sections (43, 44) of the second housing (41) are engaged with each other in a removable manner and in such a manner that the first housing (31) floats relative to the second housing (41) and that the catch sections (35, 37) and the latch sections (43, 44) are engaged with each other in the direction perpendicular to the connecting direction (A1) in which the optical connector device (11) connects to the mating optical connector device (81).
