<p>Disclosed is a sealing material, in which the occurrence of cracking, rupture and deformation due to a defoaming treatment is suppressed and which has excellent sealing properties. The sealing material is obtained by vulcanizing and foaming a mixture containing a rubber component containing an ethylene-a-olefin (having 3 or more carbon atoms)-non-conjugated diene copolymer rubber, a vulcanizing agent and a foaming agent, followed by a defoaming treatment. The mixture further contains a fatty acid calcium salt and a fatty acid zinc salt.</p> |
