<p>The invention discloses a mobile terminal and a method thereof for inquiring and adding telephone number information of a short message. The mobile terminal at least comprises an extracting module, a comparison module and a display module. When the mobile terminal receives a short message, the extracting module checks whether the short message contains a telephone number. If yes, the comparison module searches the number matching with the telephone number in the address book, if the number is found, extracts the user information corresponding to the number from the address book, and inserts the user information in front of or behind the telephone number in the short message by the display module; otherwise, the process is ended. By adopting the invention, the user can determine whether it is necessary to reply the incoming call when receiving a short message like a call reminder message, thereby avoiding the waste of telephone expense and enlarging the benefits of the user and the operator.</p> |
