<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding tool of a thin cylindrical workpiece highly accurate machining, by wholly surely supporting any place of the workpiece from the inner peripheral surface side, exhibiting strong holding power undefeated in machining pressure, and being undeformable even when strong machining force is applied to a local part. <P>SOLUTION: This holding tool 1 is inserted into the inner periphery of a thin cylindrical workpiece W, and holds the workpiece from the inner peripheral side, and has a metallic cylindrical holding member 10 for holding an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the workpiece when inserted into the inner periphery of the workpiece and holding the workpiece by bringing the outer periphery of itself into close contact with an inner peripheral surface of the workpiece by expanding a diameter after being inserted into the inner periphery of the workpiece, and a diameter changing means for changing a diameter of the metallic cylindrical holding member by making axial directional external force in the compression direction or the tensile direction act on both ends of the metallic cylindrical holding member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
