<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-core processor system allowing ON/OFF of processor core power according to a load state without preparing a processor or hardware for power control exclusive use. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-core processor system includes: a plurality of processor cores 1a-1f; a power supply system 4 individually stopping and supplying the power to the plurality of processor cores 1a-1f; and a thread queue 33 accumulating threads made to be executed by the plurality of processor cores 1a-1f. Each processor core 1a-1f includes: a power supply suspension means making the power supply system 4 suspend the power supply to the processor core itself when the number of the threads accumulated in the tread queue 33 is a first threshold or below; and a power supply resumption means making the power supply system 4 resume the power supply to another processor core wherein the power supply is suspended when the number of the threads exceeds a second threshold not less than the first threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
