PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swirler (100) for a turbine combustor (30). SOLUTION: The swirler (100) can include an outer wall (105), a passage (110) formed of the outer wall (105) and a sidewall (115). The sidewall (115) can include several apertures (120) penetrating it. In the other embodiment, the swirler for the turbine combustor can include the outer wall, an inner wall, a cavity formed of the outer wall and the inner wall, and the sidewall.
