PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skid-to-turn flying object which satisfies required turning performance at low cost. SOLUTION: A gimbal mechanism 112 is installed to an airframe so that a preferential rotation direction of the gimbal mechanism 112 corresponds to a preferential turning direction of the airframe. The skid-to-turn flying object is equipped with a roll control device for controlling a roll of the airframe so that a heading direction of a tracking target corresponds to the preferential turning direction of the airframe. A rotation shaft of a steering wing 132 and a rotation shaft of the first gimbal mechanism 112 forms an angle of 45 degrees or zero degree seen from the back of the airframe.
