PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-structured angle sensor and a rotation angle detecting device using the same mainly used for detecting a rotation angle of an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal of an automobile, and capable of detecting the rotation angle with high accuracy. SOLUTION: By attaching a magnet 15 to a center of rotation of a body of rotation 12 biased by a spring 14 and making a magnetism detection element 17 detect horizontal magnetism of the magnet 15, the rotation angle of the body of rotation can be detected only with the magnet 15 and the magnetism detection element 17 oppositely disposed thereto without using components such as a yoke and a core made of magnetic materials, thereby providing the simply-structured, inexpensive angle sensor with less components capable of detecting the rotation angle with high accuracy, and the rotation angle detecting device using the same.
