PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine start controller capable of continuing starting of an engine even when a battery is in a low voltage state, and capable of improving startability of the engine. SOLUTION: The engine start controller includes a microcomputer 40 for outputting a control signal for driving a starter, and a power source IC30 formed separately from the microcomputer 40 and maintaining a state of the control signal output from the microcomputer 40 when it is detected that the voltage supplied to the microcomputer 40 is equal to or less than a prescribed value in the state that the control signal for bringing the starter in the driving state is output from the microcomputer 40.
