<p>The present invention relates to a flow control device which provides a means for those using a shower apparatus to manually adjust the flow rate through the shower apparatus independently of altering the water flow rate at the initial hot and cold water mixing point, therefore making it possible to alter the water flow rate as the end user so desires.
