The arrangement (2) has a high-side driver (4) connected to a positive terminal of a voltage source (6), and branches (8, 12) connected parallel to each other. A free-wheeling diode (14) and an inductive load (10) are arranged in the respective loads, where the diode is connected parallel to a capacitor (16) in an inner side of one of the branches. The diode and the capacitor are connected in series with an electrical resistor (18), where the branches are connected in series with the high-side driver. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling an inductive load.
