PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a fan power increase and a decrease in the amount of air flow in fans caused by installation of electrical equipment boxes, and to facilitate inspection work in a control section in the electrical equipment boxes in a limited space. SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a casing 11 including an air intake 11c and an air outlet 11d; fans 12 for circulating air from the intake 11c toward the outlet 11d in the casing 11; a heat exchanger 14 that is provided in a circulation path of air from the intake 11c toward the outlet 11d and cools the air circulated in the casing 11 by the fan 12; and the electrical equipment box 30 that includes both of a first flat electrical equipment box 300 and a second electrical equipment box 400, where the control section 31 for driving and controlling each operation mechanism of the air conditioner 10 is provided inside, and is provided at a region, namely a lower part of the fan 12 and the heat exchanger 14. The first electrical equipment box 300 is disposed in the front-side position of the casing 11 as compared with the second electrical equipment box 400, and is provided so that the first electrical equipment box 300 is withdrawn to the front side of the casing 11.
