<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical seal device suitably used as a shaft seal for a high-temperature, high-pressure and high-revolution pump. <P>SOLUTION: The mechanical seal device includes a rotary ring 16 rotating integrally with a rotating shaft 12, a stationary ring 20 attached to a casing 22 for non-relative rotation, and an intermediate ring 18 which is interposed between the rotary ring and the stationary ring along an axial direction of the rotating shaft, slides on the rotary ring and the stationary ring, and is installed at the rotary ring and the stationary ring for relative rotation. When the stationary ring is inclined relatively to the rotating shaft by the pressure of a sealed fluid, the intermediate ring and the rotary ring can be inclined relatively to the rotating shaft so as to almost agree the inclination of the stationary ring relative to the rotating shaft with the inclination of the intermediate ring and the rotary ring relative to the rotating shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
