<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc grinder allowing a worker to grip its body part easily without requiring much effort, and to give proper pressing load to it with a single hand of the worker. <P>SOLUTION: This disc grinder 1 includes a motor 6 having a rotary shaft, a motor housing 2 storing the motor 6, a gear cover 3 attached to a front part of the motor housing 2 and storing a drive transmission means, and a tail cover 4 attached to a rear part of the motor housing 2 to rotate an end tool attached to the transmission means. A grip part 2a being thinner than the gear cover 3 and the tail cover 4 and having diameter of 30 mm or more and 45 mm or less, is formed in the motor housing 2 to store the motor 6 in it. This motor 6 is a brushless DC motor having electric power consumption of 200 W or more and 1400 W, and a control substrate 24 having a switching element 22 mounted on it is stored in the tail cover 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
