PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking system capable of optimizing commodity information to be instructed to a conveying device, and enhancing the picking efficiency. SOLUTION: In the picking system 100, a system controller 300 combines commodity request information with each other out of a plurality of sets of commodity request information (orders "00010" to "00050") to be sent from each shop so that the kinds of same commodities are maximum, and transmits the combined commodity request information to picking carts 600a, 600b, 600c.
