PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eddy current flaw detection device and an eddy current flaw detection method capable of measuring the presence or absence of scratches, cracks, or the like even for a large-area object to be measured that cannot be moved easily. SOLUTION: The eddy current flaw detection device 10 includes: a superconductive coil 14; a drive section 15; and a pickup coil 12. The drive section 15 periodically moves the superconductive coil 14. The pickup coil 12 detects a signal generated by a variable magnetic field generated from the object to be measured when the drive section 15 periodically moves the superconductive coil 14 to the object to be measured.
