PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing added aluminum from flowing out to treated water and an efficient boron treatment method which can perform satisfactory treatment even when the amount of supplied calcium is out of the optimum ratio and generates a small amount of sludge, and a treatment apparatus used for the methods. SOLUTION: In a boron-containing wastewater treatment method which comprises a reaction process of adding aluminum sulfate and slaked lime to wastewater containing 300 mg/L or less of boron to adjust the pH to alkaline, and a solid-liquid separation process for solid-liquid separating the generated insoluble deposits, the reaction process includes a first reaction process for adjusting the amounts of aluminum and calcium so that their weight ratio is 1:4 to 1:6 and adjusting the pH to 9 or higher, and a second reaction process for adjusting the pH to 12 or higher by adding the slaked lime.
