In the provided air-conditioning device (1), when the difference between the outdoor temperature To and the temperature Te of an outdoor heat exchanger increases, a determination unit (43) in a controller (4) determines that frost formation on the outdoor heat exchanger (13) has increased, and switches to a mode for when frost is forming, wherein the speed of an outdoor fan (23) is decreased. Also, the operating frequency of a compressor (11) is increased in accordance with the amount by which the temperature of an indoor heat exchanger (15) has decreased. The controller (4) is preset with increment sizes by which the operating frequency of the compressor (11) is changed incrementally. Each time the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger (15) decreases by a prescribed amount, the controller (4) increases the operating frequency of the compressor (11) by one increment and decreases the speed of the outdoor fan (23) by an amount corresponding to the size of said increment.</p> |
