<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a detection accuracy of a position of a pair of eyes of an observer in a camera provided with eye finder modules. <P>SOLUTION: Each eye finder module of a camera system having two eye finder modules includes a camera chip for detecting and determining a position of an eye of an observer on at least one object surface, and a camera having an objective lens, and the camera system is connected with a control part of a display device. The objective lens (L) is coupled with a micro-prism array (EMPA) controllable for sequential imaging and deflection of sub-areas (DA1, ..., DAn) of at least one object surface (A, ..., Am) onto an entire photosensitive area of the camera chip (C), and the sub-areas (DA1, ..., DAn) are positioned within a focal depth range of a combination (K) of the objective lens (L) and the controllable micro-prism array (EMPA).
