PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device imparting navigation function to an apparatus with GPS function, not having the navigation function. SOLUTION: This navigation device includes: a receiving device 2 for receiving a mail including a present place of an apparatus with position detection function and a destination, from the apparatus with the position detection function; a processing device 33 for searching for a route from the present place to the destination included in the mail received by the receiving device, and generating image information including the searched-for route; and transmitting device 2 for transmitting the image information generated by the processing device to the apparatus with the position detection function.
