PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device restraining a lighting state in a wire crossing part from being seen easily without increasing wiring resistance greatly. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device includes: a first substrate having a first electrode and a first wire 31 connected with the first electrode on one face; a second substrate having a second electrode and a second wire 32 connected with the second electrode on one face; and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched in between one face of the first substrate and one face of the second substrate.
