PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color balance adjustment device which appropriately corrects and adjusts R, G, B values of pixels photographed by an imaging apparatus through a front glass or an optical filter, etc. SOLUTION: The color balance adjustment device 1 is provided with: a color temperature calculation means 2 which calculates a color temperature index value T<SP>*</SP>for every pixel, based on the R, G, B values of respective pixels of an image input from the imaging device 10; a discrimination means 3 which determines whether each pixel is a colorless pixel or a chromatic color pixel, based on the R, G, B values of each pixel; and an adjustment means 4 which calculates correction values for the R, G, B values based on the color temperature index value T<SP>*</SP>by using the relation according to whether each pixel is the colorless pixel or the chromatic color pixel following relation between the color temperature index value T<SP>*</SP>established beforehand in mutually different mode for the colorless pixel and the chromatic color pixel, and correction values, and makes adjustment of the R, G, B values for every pixel, following the correction values.
