摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode contact material of a vacuum circuit breaker capable of improving voltage resistance and interception performance, and a manufacturing method for an electrode contact material of a vacuum circuit breaker which can facilitate its manufacturing. SOLUTION: A coil electrode 2 is arranged on an end face of a conductor 1 for current conduction oppositely arranged in a breaking chamber under a vacuum atmosphere, and the electrode contact material 3 using a Cu-Cr alloy material stuck to an opposite end face of the coil electrode 2 is processed by frictional stirring treatment. The frictional stirring treatment is performed on the surface of the Cu-Cr alloy material by laying a superior conductive material at the time of the frictional stirring treatment, the electrode contact material 3 has a superior conductive material containing layer containing a superior conductive material component at a face side stuck to the coil electrode 2, and a two-phase structured layer of the Cu-Cr alloy material is provided on a face side opposite to each coil electrode.
