PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake capable of restricting a rattle and a clonk due to looseness and a squeal, while securing assemblability and excellent performance in return of a pad. SOLUTION: This disc brake includes: a pad 50a(50b) with an anchoring point P arranged on the inner peripheral side in the radial direction of a rotor rather than the center A of a pad friction surface; a first pad clip 30 having a pushing part for pushing the pad 50a; and a caliper body 12 for assembling the pad 50 and the first pad clip 30. The pad 50a includes a projection 56 in a pressure plate 52 thereof, and the pushing part of the first pad clip 30 is brought into contact with the projection 56 to give the energizing force in the same direction as the rotating direction, expressed with an arrow M, of the pad 50a in braking, and assembled to be pushed to a trailing side torque receiver part 26 of the caliper body 12.
