PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid jetting apparatus capable of surely sealing nozzles while miniaturizing a recording head. SOLUTION: An ink-jet printer includes the recording head 5 having a nozzle surface 5A formed with a nozzle array 16 comprising a plurality of nozzle openings 17; elastic members 45 extended along the nozzle array 16 to seal the plurality of nozzle openings 17 belonging to the nozzle array 16, and movable relative to the recording head 5; and a pressure detector 10 detecting the sealed state of the nozzle openings 17 with the elastic members 45.
