PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost cyclone-type gas separator of a simple structure that efficiently separates a gas from a fluid without requiring a power source. SOLUTION: The cyclone-type gas separator that causes a fluid 1 comprising a gas to swirl to separate the gas from the fluid 1 by making use of the resulting centrifugal force, includes a fluid introduction section 4 that introduces the fluid 1 into the upper part of a casing 3 having a cylindrical inner circumferential face 2 along the circumferential direction thereof; a supporting member 5 that is helically arranged in the housing 3 to support the fluid 1 introduced thereinto along the cylindrical inner circumferential face 2 from the fluid introduction section 4 and to regulate the fluid 1 so that it flows downward while swirling along the cylindrical inner circumferential face 2; and many protrusions 6 disposed on the cylindrical inner circumferential face 2 of the casing 3 so as to apply vibration to the fluid 1 flowing along the supporting member 5.
